Garry M. Spotts, M.Div., is a native of Louisville, Kentucky and a product of the Jefferson County Public Schools.  A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Grehan School of Journalism, he continued his post-secondary education; by completing a Master of Divinity degree course of study at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky.  Professionally:

Garry has served various Church-based Ministries focused upon church development, professional development and training of paid and volunteer staff.  Additionally, he has assisted both churches and non-profit organizations as an organizational development consultant leading them in the creation and execution of strategic plans, program and ministry development. 

As a professional educator he has served as the Academic Dean of The former  Simmons Bible College (now Simmons College of Kentucky), from 1985 to 1988.  Academic Advisor to First Year Students and Adjunct Instructor in the School of Education, Dept. of Educational Leadership at the Miami University of Oxford, Ohio 1988 to 1990; and the Executive Director of the St. Stephen Family Life Center of Louisville, Kentucky from January 1991 to June 1992.

 In June 1993 Garry M. Spotts launched Spotts & Associates, (now known as The Spotts Group) a niche, capacity building consulting practice for schools, businesses, churches and non-profit organizations.  Garry developed and conducted educational programming for students, parents and educational personnel in the Jefferson County Public Schools as a contract consultant working through the Family Resource and Youth Service Centers of Jefferson County . 

The Spotts Group currently serves as a business development consultant, leads self-employed and small businesses in defining their marketing focus and enhancing their customer responsiveness to achieve greater profitability.   With an emphasis on  product & service development The Spotts Group helps its clients leverage relationships with other businesses & the communities they serve.  One of the value added services available to his clients is a customer focused website development service Weboniqs Media, LLC.

Personally: One of three children and the youngest of twins born to the Late Rev. George M. Spotts, and Viola E. Spotts he was reared in a home where values were demonstrated through the actions of his parents.  Garry M. Spotts has enjoyed 23 years with his life partner and wife, Stefni Carothers Spotts. Their five years of courtship and 18 years of marriage produced 16 year old twins; a son, Gyasi and a daughter Shukura.
